“You have nothing to worry about darling,” Tempest says brightly, running along the rooftop and getting ready to jump over to the next one, “You’re with me!”

Callisto stares down at the scene before them. A wild, giant junglefowl has one guard by the leg, swinging him around violently preparing to slam the screaming man’s body into the other standing guard, as another one lies in a crumpled heap next to a snapped polearm. *Maybe I should just let them hang me*, she thinks with a grimace.

”WOO! YEAH!! Attaboy, kill em—!” Tempest whoops before suddenly cutting herself off, ”—Oh,” she says blandly, and begins to lift her sparking, glowing gun, “Look, one of ’em’s getting up.” Callisto’s head tilts sympathetically, the grimace widening.

Panel 1: A bell rings out loudly from a tower in the city walls.

Panel 2: The bell continues to ring, and Tempest looks up in distress, “Ah shit! The gates!”

Panel 3: She lifts her fingers to her lips and lets out a sharp shrill whistle

Panel 4: The rooster below looks up at them, guard haigning limply from his beak.

Panel 5: Tempest looks over at Callisto, “C’mon, we have to hurry!”

Panel 6: “Get ready to jump!” she continues, and Callisto startles, “Jump?!” she cries.

Panel 7: Tempest leans over the edge of the roof and grins up at her, “I’ll catch you, don’t worry!”
