Prose

There’s a bright flash of light, and a swirling flood of smoke fills the air beside her, fast dissipating in the heavy rainfall to reveal a small, winged reptile carrying what appears to be a wooden revolver within its paws.

“Halt!” one of the guards cries out behind with several others in tow, beginning to gain on them in a gaggle of metallic footfalls. “What the—” one of the other guards exclaims, “How did they get that!?”

Tempest grins and holds a hand out, catching the revolver and spinning it on one finger, “I don’t feel like it darling,” she says, spinning the gun as a trail of electricity forms at its tip.

Panel 1: In the foreground, one guard crumples in place as electricity arcs across his body, and another guard rushes to his side to catch him. Beyond them, Tempest and Callisto, as well as members of the crowd, dash off into the distant streets and make their escape. Callisto watches the chaos behind them as they run.

Panel 3: “You got my wand, right?” Tempest asks

Panel 4: “O-oh, yes!” Callisto replies, turning her attention away from the scene behind them.

Hello hello and welcome to my new website !! :D

For the most part, the site is the same as the ComicFury mirror—but there are a few improvements! They're currently pretty minor, if you change one of your display preferences on CF the page will load and then it will apply your preferences after the page finishes loading. Now that I have access to the backend however, when you change a display preference it'll check your settings before the page loads. This means site skins are on the way! I'll be making a light mode and a low contrast mode in the future :)

This was made possible thanks to the SpiderForest Collective, who have generously provided me with hosting space on their server. If you look at the banner to the left, you'll see a random comic from one of the other members of the collective! If any of them catch your eye, be sure to check them out and give them your love <3

If you're not familiar with what a collective is, it's when a group of artists band together and pool resources together towards a common goal. What this means for me is I now have a wonderful community of support from other independent webcomic creators! And what this means for you is that if I for example do a print run for HotS, I've got a lot of folks who can help me get that organised and successfully fundraised. Stuff like that! You also get this shiny new website to visit, and lots of really great comic recommendations on the left :)

You also get to read one page ahead of ComicFury! Click through to see the next page!!
